I am Jorah the Archivist (they/them), a storyteller and TTRPG table host from Chicago, IL. Since 2012 I have been using tabletop games to weave stories with my friends, family, and perfect strangers in a pursuit to build community & promote interpersonal connection, laughter, and play between people. I have hosted tables across the country and online, at GenCon, C2E2 in Chicago, and many beyond.
Inspired by my friends and a new network of supportive artists and creatives, I've decided to open my archives to the world, to invite those who want to experience these stories to do so at my table.

Browse the Catalogue
In this archive are the adventures that I've written or spun off and prepared for an excellent tabletop experience and I can bring this to your table with very little forward prep. Together we will weave magnificent tales. Horror on the Atlantic, a nightclub in a hellish corporate future, an iron age that never was, an adventure in a chainsaw schooner upon the canopy of an endless ocean of forest.

Commission New Pages
Tell me about your group, the systems or types of games you enjoy, and the night you'd like to have. I'll build or prepare a one-shot or short campaign just for you.
For example, you may have a group of four that really digs Cyberpunk 2077, and you're looking for a high action blockbuster under a sky the color of a television tuned to a dead channel. I'll recommend something for the catalogue or work with you to build something bespoke.

For schools, libraries, clubs and game programs. Or even just for some personal development: program design, GM training, facilitator materials and starter library recommendations from an industry expert.
I have an academic background in the study of play, aesthetics, and accessible writing. I have created edutainment experiences for all ages and have experience in game design, multi-table play, teaching new players, table safety, and so much more.

Why me?
Years of Experience
I have been running tables for friends and strangers alike since 2012. I have a passion for creating unique tabletop experiences you can't find anywhere else.
Convention Pro, Local Vibes
Over the years I've run tables at the country's largest cons, GenCon, C2E2, and more. I have a particular interest in multi-table experiences and community play, but I can engage a table of two just as well as a room of sixty, and that's where my true strength lies.
Academic Background
I have an MA focused on the study of play & aesthetics. I am particularly interested in group play dynamics, diagetic ethics and normative structures in play, and the translation of abstract concepts into ludomechanical devices. I employ all of these concepts to my work and writing to craft compelling play at the tabletop.
Variety of Content
I am competent in dozens of systems, expert in many, and I am constantly adding to my repertoire. I have played dozens of games in all the systems in my catalogue and I love onboarding new players into unique tabletop systems, no matter how ambitious. From Wanderhome to Seven Part Pact (thanks Jay Dragon), I will guide you through an engaging experience with any system
